A Richter
magnitude 5.0 earthquake hit near the city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia on 20 April 2010. It was
recorded as the largest in the Goldfields region and one of the largest in Australia causing major damage to the
historic buildings in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Both Hotels were near my old home.
